Lisa Patric            http://lisapatric.bandcamp.com/

Her father was not a hamster, and her mother does not smell like elderberries (more like cheap vodka).

GRAND RIVER ORCHESTRA

Originally conceived as a side project from their band, the Brautigans, Grand River Orchestra was formed by Ian Light and Jerry Grey when they recorded and released IN THE THIRD WINTER OF THE NEW CENTURY in 2003. The two slowly expanded to four with the addition of drummer and singer Chad Casarin of Trebend’le and Ian’s dad, bass player Neil Light, rich with musical experience from rock to jazz to show tunes. Lead guitarist Jason Maile joined soon after, fresh with swagger by way of bassist of the Atomic Drops.

This 5-piece rocker played throughout Southern Ontario until 2012 when they finally decided to finish a record.

BINARY FOREST                     https://soundcloud.com/binaryforest

Have you ever tasted the flavour of night?

Binary Forest are packed with the flavour...

Listen.  As they jam out.

Joseph Gallo Jr.     http://www.josephgallojr.com

Foremost a piano/vocal combination with hints of lounge jazz, pop and doo-wop with a 'crooner' vocal style.
Juxtaposing the array of lush sounds is a quirky but angry lyricism inspired by people, places and things.

M.D. Edwards         www.mdedwardsmusic.com

M.D. Edwards is a singer-songwriter from Kitchener Ontario Canada; a once-member of the late-great multi-instrumentalist indie band Lazu Lie; who once performed and recorded under the name Nervous Wrecked; and is affiliated with Fauxtown Records.

Walk Through Paint, the debut solo album, was released May 4th, 2012, on 12" vinyl and download.

Slender Loris     http://slenderloris.bandcamp.com/

The members of Slender Loris used to be "with it", but now what they're "with" isn't "it", and what is "it" is strange and frightening to them. Slender Loris plays their own interpretation of mathey-post-punk-anti-pop while still paying homage and respect to bands such as At the Drive-in, Nirvana, The Pixies, Sonic Youth, Minutemen and Tugnut. Expect distorted acoustic guitar, amplified acoustic bass, thrashing drums, flailing bodies and curdling screams/yells conflicting with melodic oo's and ah's. None of their products are made to last, aside from the ones they sell/barter/or trade. Armed with a strong D.I.Y. ethic and a self-produced EP under their belts: Slender Loris plays in living rooms, basements, kitchens, bars, halls, theatres, loud or quiet. Anywhere anticipating the energy and intensity they emanate so well.

IDRM  (http://idrm.wikispaces.com/)

-------

IDRM is a fictional mainstream dance duo from Eurasia, who moved to Toronto in 2004 and now is part of Fauxtown Records.  After being told that changing over to an insignificant independent label from a backwater berg would give them some underground cred, IDRM made the move and has since not looked back.  "This is definitely beneath us", snorted Delisle-Tron derisively, "but we need to re-connect with the indie scene, even though we are so far beyond indie...Why, I used to babysit that singer from Arcade Fire when he was 2.  That's as close to indie as we've ever come.  John Lennon stole my glasses and everyone took pictures of him, thinking they were his."  IDRM is currently recording their newest single at Fauxtown Studios, entitled "Break-up Tears Taste The Saltiest".  "Mister Completely really has captured our essence with his quadrophonic gear...fantastic!" said Young Coconut in an April 2013 interview with Spin.

TrenchFoot

https://www.facebook.com/pages/TrenchFoot/172656339457508

An insight into mind and matter of a little-known soul. In this context he prefers to be called "TrenchFoot". A collection of personal lyrics combined with a signature acoustic/electric bass guitar tone comes together to create the songs and sounds that is TrenchFoot.

Livestalk                 http://livestalk.bandcamp.com/

Livestalk is Kevin Fraser, a songwriter and musician getting help from the support systems closest to him, referred to as the bodies. Distorted D.I.Y. Math Folk entrenched in sleeplessness, euphoria, adhedonia, poetry, shit-talk and political frustrations. Currently in the process of recording a new record, Livestalk also keeps busy writing, performing with several groups, most importantly with Slender Loris. Check out Livestalk's website that has a bunch of related recording projects, including Livestalk's first Full-length "Eudaimonia" which is full of collaborations from other Fauxtowners.

J.K. Phil Osé             http://jkphilose.bandcamp.com

Hi, I am J.K. Phil Osé, also known as Philip J.K. Mauro. I play guitar, bass, and some drums on a number of original songs. I began writing music in 2008, in hopes of bringing a new style of music to be heard based on my favourite artists work, which has and still inspires me to continue. The level of originality is questionable, but the goal is one of a lifetime. Music is for me a transcribing of the soul on the sonic plane. I try very hard to do that regularly in the music I write.

I would like to thank all of the guests who have appeared on the recorded songs of the past and those of the future. You've done wonderfully! I couldn't have completed anything in this life without my friends (family included) and my contemporaries. I hope you enjoy.
If anyone has any music they would like to share please send the link or show date to my gmail: philipjkmauro@gmail.com. Please don't be shy!

Try Hardz                 http://tryhardz.bandcamp.com/

More like an experiment than anything else, Try Hardz is actually more akin perhaps to a sieve.. J.K. Phil Osé and Young Coconut have always been and shall always be Try Hardz, and their ideas will always flow in a Try Hardz-ly direction, and the sieve is what catches the pebbles, shells, waste solids, and the odd thumbtack that come barrelling down the conduit towards
the ocean of obscurity beyond.  What gets caught in the sieve gets removed by non-experts and temps and
displayed on a plastic sheet located on large table for the world to hear.  Because we are speaking of the auditory.  The sounds you will hear will be fed through blue crimson speakers and listened to by people without sneakers, naked except for bowties, and owners of their own franchise (preferably).

The Approachables

http://theapproachables.bandcamp.com

The Approachables are a nomadic 6-piece band of magicians who met in art school in a film class.. or was it film school in an art class?  In any case, they made it their mission to re-invent the wheel as a 6-sided psychedelic object, and hence the vehicles never travelled very far, but when they did, all could hear it!

Young Coconut  www.youngcoconut.bandcamp.com

YC is currently working on his 12th album currently, called "I Got A Vibe", at Fauxtown Studios with Mister Completely and a whole host of awesome guests.  Don't miss it!  Also, check out my new album "Beiber Heads", which is a remix album with Tiger Suit's Curtis Maranda.   Should hit store shelves in a few months.   The music has been described as "fun" by at least one person.

Personal Helicopter

http://www.reverbnation.com/personalhelicopter

personal helicopter, a new hopean raised artist/musician from cambridge ontario, had found a solo project that came about when heartbreak and world events clashed & a fellow named chad casarin started to create music uncontrollably in 2oo1. originally a drummer, chad started playing guitar and singing, recording himself at night at the jam hall where he also resided at times, writing songs & staying up late. then after almost 27 minutes of music was done, the first personal helicopter e.p. was born. a few years of being politically tarnished and passionately driven to find more out about the world, in 2oo6, he took a bicycle trip half way across the country, playing from cambridge, ontario to winnipeg, manitoba, sharing a political idea, off to find himself and try to do something meaningful without having to drive a car. this journey hd an unexpected twist to it which darkened the fire, well fueling another album named II nimkee, released in 2oo8. thanks to friends helping out on each of the releases, songs about chemtrails, secret deals, oppression, happiness, friends, beauty, destruction and melody. after a 5 years hiatus from writing music due to investigating political corruptness, doing radio, tv & interviews about geo-engineering & chemtrails, led to a reporting gig for a local independent news agency, laying the groundwork for writing the third personal helicopter project, right at this moment and onward. it has been quite the while. so it's about flippin time. into a new frequency. even a new personal helicopter. all of the best to you in 2o13.
